Welcome to the Oakfield Park School website. We trust that you'll find it both informative and user-friendly.

Oakfield Park School is a Local Authority maintained secondary school renowned for delivering outstanding education, as affirmed by Ofsted in October 2019.

Our school caters to young people aged 11 to 19 with severe, complex, or profound multiple learning difficulties. Among our diverse student body, many individuals contend with additional needs, including Autism, sensory impairment, challenging behaviour, as well as medical and physical difficulties.

At Oakfield Park School, we take immense pride in creating a secure, stimulating, and joyful environment for our students. Surrounded by a team of dedicated, knowledgeable, and passionate staff, our students flourish and thrive through engaging with a rich variety of opportunities.

Central to our ethos is the holistic development of our students, focusing on enhancing communication skills, fostering social interaction, nurturing life skills, and facilitating community access. By fostering partnerships with stakeholders such as parents, carers, respite centers, social care services, and multi-disciplinary teams, we empower our students to generalise and apply their skills, enabling them to lead as independent a life as possible and smoothly transition into the next phase of their journey.

At Oakfield Park, we've crafted a bespoke and relevant curriculum tailored to meet the diverse needs of our students.

Our overarching mission is to empower all our students to develop a ‘voice’, to be as independent, social and healthy as possible, enabling them to become citizens who engage positively with society, whilst leading happy and fulfilled lives..

Welcome to Oakfield Park School, where every student's potential is nurtured, and every achievement celebrated.
