Our main site is situated in the village of Ackworth, West Yorkshire. We have 20 classes on this site with a range of profound and complex learning needs.
The Headteacher is Nicola Cryer who is Senior Safeguarding Lead.
There are 3 Assistant Heads on this site:
- Frances Gambles, Key Stage 3,
- Kathie Burns, Key Stage 4.
- Dale Woolsey, Post 16, is based on site Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
All Assistant Heads are DSL trained.

Oakfield Thornes Park - Formal Work Pathway
Our Satelite site is situated in the City of Wakefield, West Yorkshire. We have 1 class on this site and the students attending are our Formal Pathway, workskills cohort.
The Headteacher is Nicola Cryer who is Senior Safeguarding Lead and will be on site 1 half day per week.
There is 1 Assistant Head who works on this site:
- Dale Woolsey, Assistant Headteacher, is based on site Thursdays.
The Teacher in Charge is Chloe Brook, she is on site Monday - Friday each week.
